Faulkner Architects

General Information

Greg Faulkner established our initial office in 1998 in Truckee, California.  Darrell Linscott was promoted to partner in 2005; we opened a second office in Berkeley, CA in 2007.  Our small staff focuses on highly crafted places using reclaimed wood and being environmentally conscious by priding ourselves in sustainable design.  We have designed and managed a diverse range of projects, including golf club facilities, mixed-use projects, office buildings, restaurants, commercial retail spaces and private houses both in Lake Tahoe, Truckee, and Bay Area and as far away as Maui and Colorado.

Emphasis is placed on the entire interactive process between the Architect, Client and Builder throughout the project that allows the inhabitants to be intimately involved with the design and to make desired changes.
