Emerson Mountain Retreat

The Emerson Mountain Retreat in Nordon is set right next to the base of Sugar Bowl ski resort, just outside of Truckee, CA. Greg Faulkner designed this house to take advantage of the high snow loads and minimal morning light to accommodate the lot location. Sugar Bowl boasts maximum snow loads and great powder days in the high sierras just minutes from downtown Truckee, California.
