Tianjin Golf Club

 

Our clients from Beijing asked for a “Western Designed” clubhouse to serve an existing golf club of over 1000 members.

 

 

The combination of large, golf course sized curves that occur where the built place must interface with its site with the straight lines of the buildable plan layout satisfied the need for a balance of yin and yang.

 

Locker rooms and golf related services are located on grade with the golf course for direct access. The restaurant is located on the second level which affords views to the entire golf course.

 

The twelve guest suites are on the third level for privacy and the best views. Parking is concealed from view below grade.

 

Architecture is modern, simple, and transparent. Maximized glazing allows view between the course and its members’ pre and post play.
